AK manufactures single screw extruders for all plastic, rubber, and silicone applications. Our machines feature proprietary high performance Steward Barrier screws. We also retrofit Steward Barrier screws in to all brands of machines in all extrusion applications. We offer our patent pending Modular extruder which allow processors to quickly and easily change barrel ID size and/or L/D. We specialize in supplying turn-key tubing systems for medical, industrial, and automotive applications, including multi-layer and multi-lumen tubes. In addition to discrete controls, we offer three levels of touch screen control systems with our AKcess I, II, and III. Our rubber and silicone machines feature unique easy open feed roll assemblies to facilitate fast and easy cleaning for material and/or color changes. We supply a full range of training and aftermarket services including mechanical and electrical rebuilds and upgrades of existing machinery in the field.
