Preco's ZonePro small area laser processing machine is the most versatile laser processing system in the market, whether it be controlled depth laser scoring or laser perforating. Zone processing machines combine lasers with 2D scan head technology to direct the laser beam while processing "on the fly". Each individual laser module has the ability to add scoring or perforating features within a defined "width" or "zone" across the web. Laser scoring for easy-opening packages can be continuous web direction straight lines, contour lines or intermittent dash lines.
