Choice Mold Components offers a variety of alignment locks including Side Locks offered in US Inch and Metric, Top Locks, Multi-Plate Locks, Shuttle Mold Locks, Round and Rectangular Tapered Interlocks.
Side Locks are interchangeable with PCS "PA" Series or Progressive "SL" and "SLM"Series. Precision ground to provide positive and accurate alignment of mold halves from 1/2" to 1-5/8" prior to mold closing, Side Locks will not bind under conditions of unequal mold half thermal expansion, have lubricated retention pockets, and chamfered edges. Special sized Side Locks can be made to your requirements.
Top Locks are interchangeable with PCS "TL" Series. All Top Locks come with chamfered edges, include self-locking screws, will not seize under thermal expansion, provide accurate alignment, are machined symmetrically to the centerline, and can be made to special sizes based on your requirements.
Multi-Plate Locks are interchangeable with PCS "MPA" Series. All Multi-Plate Locks come with chamfered edges, include self-locking screws, will not seize under thermal expansion, provide positive, accurate alignment, are machined symmetrically to the centerline, and can be made to special sizes based on your requirements.
Guide Locks are interchangeable with PCS "GL" Series.
Shuttle Mold Locks are interchangeable with PCS "SPA" Series.
Tapered Interlocks are hardened and precision ground, and have extra stock for precision fitting.
