Manufacturer of Enviroshake®, an environmentally friendly composite cedar-like shake roof shingles as an alternative to premium roofing products. Predominantly all of the materials used in the product are reclaimed materials. The composite blend is a mixture of post industrial plastics, recycled rubber elastomers and cellulosic fibre materials. What distinguishes Enviroshake® is its formulation and the process that produces this superior product. This product will provide many advantages to the consumer due to its enhanced physical properties. Major benefits include increased durability, UV protection, wind and hail resistance combined with superior mold, mildew and insect resistant properties The Enviroshake® can be installed efficiently with less waste than traditional cedar, does not require any pretreatment, and once installed is maintenance free. There are no added expenses for preservatives or coatings that are recommended with wood and other products. It will retain its physical properties and look for decades. Wellington Polymer Technology Inc. is an ISO 9001-2000 registered company by Intertek Testing Services NA Ltd. Enviroshake® complies with CCMC (Canadian Construction Materials Centre) requirements, National Building Code of Canada 1995, Subsection 9.26.2, and has the approval of (BMEC) Building Materials Evaluation Commission, Ontario. Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation permits the use of this product in construction financed or insured under the National Housing Act.
