Up to 30% increased throughput with lower melt temperature of processed material with the same extruder size. Now possible due to a considerable change in the ratio between the cutter compactor chamber volume and the extruder size (patented).
The enlarged cutter compactor chamber volume provides better precutting, a longer dwell time of the processed material in the chamber and a more even temperature homogenity of the precut, preheated plastic material fed to the extruder screw.
Consequently screws are now cut deeper and processing temperatures in the extruder are generally lower.
