M.R. Mold & Engineering offers its Universal Base as a cost cutting alternative to prototype and production molds. Our 10 x 10 Universal Base holds 10 x 10, 8 x 8 and 6 x 6 cavity plates. Made from Royalloy stainless steel, our Universal Base is complete with heater boxes and connector, insulation and mounting plates. M.R. Mold's Universal Base is produced with holes in the ejector half for molding machine knock outs. This Universal Base can be purchased for many projects by using interchangeable inserts on the base, holding down the cost of many projects. We, at M.R. Mold, use these Universal Bases everyday in our Technology Center when running prototype molds.
