Powder is defined as a particle size smaller than 1 mm. Depending on further processing these powders must have specific qualities and characteristics. Different materials such as LDPE, LLDPE, MDPE, HDPE, PP, EVA, PC and ABS are used whereby the adherence to important parameters such as particle size, flowability and specific bulk density are predefined. With our disc mills, pulverizers and pulverizing systems, plastic powders without any additional cooling agents with almost any specific characteristics can be produced. Depending on the requirement, a pre-cutting step by means of knife mills is necessary before pulverization.
