Buss, Inc.- USA is the U.S. subsidiary of Buss AG of Pratteln, Switzerand and a major manufacturer of continuous reciprocating single screw Kneader compounding systems for the plastics, food, aluminum and chemical industries. Key niches include shear & temperature sensitive markets such as PVC pelletizing (rigid, flexible, semi-rigid, alloys, blends, CPVC, UHMWPVC), PVC calendering, olefin based cable compounds(xlpe, halogen free flame retardant, silane grafting, semiconductive), reactive compounding, elastomer based compounds (TPE, TPO, TPV, etc.), carbon black & additive masterbatches, thermoset powder coatings and highly filled compounds.

New Buss 4-flight versions of the original 3-flight Kneader, including quantec & MX models, have resulted in output rate increases for the same diameter of over 250% and energy efficiency improvements of between 10% and 30%.
