Large ULTRA extruders are fixed horizontal extruders ranging from 4.5" to 12" diameter, any L/D, vented or non-vented. ULTRA extruders are available with air-cooling or water-cooling. The standard ULTRA is well suited for all extrusion applications including pipe, large profile, sheet, cast film, wire & cable, compounding, etc. They may be mounted on wheels with or without track, with or without some limited height adjustment. A wide range of options and cost effective customization is available.
Large ULTRA Standard extruders feature :

Feed section casting with full surround cooling and optional field replaceable feed liner

Single or double pass cast aluminum heater/coolers for air cooling
Full surround, dual axis adjustment barrel support (s)
Heavy duty heated single or double bolt clamp with titanium nitride coated hinge pins (electrically powered clamp optional)
Easy maintenance wire management system
Temperature controllers with automatic heater burn-out with audible alarm
Digital pressure indicator with automatic high pressure drive shut-down circuit
