Product Details

Our Sink Float Tank is used to separate different materials based on their different specific weights. This is accomplished by feeding mixed materials into the tank, which is filled water. There are paddle rollers for pressing the materials down into water, mixing the materials fully with water and also moving this mix forward at a slow speed. Then, the floating materials will be transported along the surface of the water by means of the paddle rollers. The materials heavier than water will sink, thus being separated from the floating materials. The floating stream is discharged off the top of the tank and the sinking materials (heavy fraction) are extracted by a screw conveyor mounted at the bottom of the sink float tank. It is important to have the proper water depth, conveying speed and length of transport to efficiently separate the materials. We combine the best of these in the design of our sink float tanks to meet your processing needs and applications
