The Indestep Machine is a highly innovative rotary table, multi-station, injection moulding machine aimed at producing high throughputs of small to medium sized mouldings, ‘value added’ mouldings. The machine is an ideal component for an automation solution.
The main advantages come from many of the machine’s activities being carried out in parallel (at the same time) rather than serially / sequentially. This includes insert work, clamping, cooling and part removal etc.
However, the machines are mainly aimed at competing more generally with conventional non-rotary horizontal injection moulding machines that use multi-cavity tooling (with relatively larger clamping tonnages) and hot runner systems for producing high throughputs of small / medium sized plastic mouldings.
The Hot Runner system is built into the Injection Unit rather in each mould tool giving associated benefits.
The Indestep Machines are supplied with mould tooling blocks allowing the moulding specific cavities and pins etc. to be inserted in the blocks.
