Madrid, July 7 th 2014. – The Spanish company Molecor, global leader in the manufacturing of machinery and production of Oriented PVC pipes (PVC-O) for the conveyance of water under pressure, confirms once more its international vocation. In 2013, the company achieved an export volume of 90% of the total production and closed the 2013 fiscal year with a net profit of one million Euros. Molecor pipes – currently the largest in the world– are present in five continents and the company expects to spend six million Euros in order to increase its production capacity and double its current billing, by investing in a solid and sustainable business model and relying mainly on the increase of the exportations of its technology and pipes.
The international mission of Molecor is also reflected in its participation in important international events within the sector. In the first semester of 2014, representativesof the company have been present in a various international exhibitions with stands and technical conferences.
SPAIN
From March 4 th to 7 th , Molecor participated as an exhibitor in the International Water and Irrigation Exhibition that took place in Zaragoza. More than 32,000 professionals from all around the world attended the conference, with a total of 754 exhibitors from 26 countries, of which, 60% were foreign companies.
MALAYSIA
From March 19 th to 21 st , Molecor participated for the first time in the Asia Water 2014 exhibiton, located in Kuala Lumpur. This time, Molecor highlighted the revolutionary features of its manufacturing technology of PVC-O pipes. The General Manager of Molecor, Ignacio Muñoz, explained the great economic and environmental advantages of PVC-O pipes for the conveyance of water under pressure conditions supporting, at the same time, the new member of the company in this country, Molecor SEA (South East Asia) Sdn Bhd.
ALGERIA
From March 23 rd to 27 th , Molecor also participated as an exhibitor at the show SIEE POLLUTEC in Oran . Algeria is a country renowned for its great investments in water infrastructure. As a result, Molecor had the privilege of presenting its wide range of PVC-O pipes in this important commercial showcase.
RUSSIA
From March 31 st to April 1 st , the VII Russian Congress of Plastic Processors was held in Moscow, wherein Dolores Herrán (Sales Manager, Molecor TECH) gave a speech about the technological development of PVC-O and its future applications. The key theme of this year was the development of the Russian market of consumption: raw materials, equipment and technology.
INDIA
On May 8 th and 9 th , Ignacio Muñoz, CEO of Molecor, presented in the Vinyl India Conference, the latest developments of PVC-O, including large diameters and fittings, made of the same material, for the conveyance of water. With approximately 700 participants representing more than 347 companies from 21 different countries, the Vinyl India Conference has become a key reference event for the plastic industry in this country.
SPAIN
Due to its recognized international experience and its innovative character, Molecor led a conference in the course of the CENTER (National Center of Irrigation Technology), on May 20 th and 22 nd , in Madrid, on how to achieve water and energy efficiency in irrigation.
SPAIN
From June 10 th to 12 th , Spanish Association of Irrigations and Drainage (AERyD) organized the XXXII National Irrigation Congress. Molecor was present and gave a lecture about the advantages that PVC-O (Oriented PVC) TOM© pipes of Molecor offer compared to other materials on the durability of irrigation networks. The Congress focused on issues specifically related to irrigation and agricultural drainage, water use optimization and the environment protection.
