This machine manufactures pipes from 90 mm (4”) to 400 mm (14”) and it has an output capacity of 3,000 Tons/year.
The pipes manufactured by Molecor have the highest orientation grade resulting in properties such as high impact resistance (almost unbreakable), high stiffness and fatigue resistance, an excellent behaviour with external loads, and maximum flexibility.
Also PVC-O pipes offer a bigger hydraulic capacity, minimum loss of pressure, and a significant reduction in wall thickness and therefore weight, which means transportation and installation savings. All these improvements are made with lower raw material consumption for the same requirement of pipe, resulting in a significant cost reduction.
Molecor technology is able to produce pipes up to 25 bars. This aspect is quite important when pretending to gain a market share from Cast Iron or Ductile Iron market. Extra pressure range is something really simple and affordable, a great advantage, being able to give customers the right product with an extreme efficiency for pipe manufacturer.
