The Model 1000 ACT Cutting System combines the convenience of a bench-top machine with the consistent performance, accuracy and quiet, maintenance free operation of a servo controlled machine. With all stainless steel construction, the Model 1000 is an ideal cutting system for clean room and medical applications.
Cut capacity is a full 1" diameter. The line speed range is from 5 to 100 FPM. With both a servo controlled cutter and servo feeder, the system offers precise cut length control for cutting parts up to 9999.99" in length at up to 350 cuts per minute. Ideal for off-line cutting applications, or on-line applications that require a minimal amount of pulling force. The Model 1000 ACT system provides a high level of cutting torque in a highly mobile package. An easy to use 6” color touch-screen interface allows the operator to program in the cut length and line speed.
Versa Machinery’s ACT software allows a wide range of operation. The Servo Feeder is electronically linked to the Servo Cutter, providing continuous feedback of line speed and part position. This allows precise cut length control over a wide range of cut lengths and cutting rates. The Model 1000, with ACT will operate at rates up to 2,000 cuts/min. An easy to use color touch-screen interface allows the operator to program in the cut length and line speed. The system will automatically choose the correct operating mode for the application.
