The PDV-2e/M is a portable color matching booth providing 4 light sources for critical visual color appraisal. The primary light sources are D65, cool white fluorescent (or TL84 if requested), incandescent (illuminant A), and UV. The PDV-2e/M is ideal for client presentations as it is easily folded up for maximum portability.
In oder to assure long-term consistency in light output, there is a lamp age timer on the critical D65 light source so you know when to replace the lamps.
Since color is light, when you bring along the light source you are guaranteed to know that your clients will see the colors with precisely the same appearance as your production facility -thereby avoiding the problems caused by inconsistent lighting environments.
