R&B Plastics Machinery's MAX mechanical blow molding wheel standard platform is a 16-station machine with a range of mold lengths and widths. (Additional configurations are available.) The parison die head is positioned between the mold faces and is continuously stretched from mold to mold for very accurate bottle profile characteristics and repeatability. The die head can be configured for mono or multi-layer and multi-parison extrusion to fit the exact needs of the customer. A mold change mechanism is integrated into the machine for ease of tooling changeover. Water and air mold connections are O'ring face seal for quick change and fool-proofed connections. Advanced electrical controls allow for ramping of molder and extruder speeds, monitoring of product, material supply, safety and down stream equipment. Recipe storage for every product run can be easily recalled for reduced set up time.
