Screen’s 98.4-inch-wide Truepress Jet2500UV inkjet printing system delivers realistic photographs and crisp text on vinyl film, plastic sheets and corrugated plastic. Its ability to print on roll and rigid media adds value to signs, billboards, vehicle wraps, posters and exhibits. The Truepress Jet2500UV achieves dense, uniform solids plus smooth gradients and mid-tones thanks to eight-level grayscale printing heads, variable-dot imaging technology and a maximum output resolution of 1,500 dpi. TruepressInk, Screen’s flexible UV inks, feature a wider color gamut than inks employed in offset presses. The automatic printhead cleaning function removes any impurities on the inkjet printhead nozzles during startup or shutdown. The multi-layer option enables the Truepress Jet2500UV to print up to seven image layers without feeding the media a second time through the printer. Multiple layers improve the performance of double-sided window stickers and day-and-night backlit displays.
