Product Overview

RCII-series top entry extraction robots

RCII-series of servo-driven, top-entry robots are suited to horizontal injection molding machines in the 80 to 650-ton range. Features include increased strokes and rigidity over the previous models. One benefit of increased rigidity is a decreased take-out cycle of double-digit improvements over the already fast RAII models. The improved belt drives provide longer belt life with less wear. To further reduce down time or mold damage, the Yushin robot comes standard with absolute encoders. If power is lost or an e-stop condition occurs, the robot will retain its position without requiring a homing cycle.

Ecology modes have been added to lower electricity usage, and eco-vac modules can reduce compressed air consumption by more than 33%.

The controller includes a voice guidance system to guide the operator through set-ups and maintenance troubleshooting. The controller has the ability to interact with twice as many servo motors as the RA-series, and has more than doubled the number of I/O points as the previous model. Additionally, the 10.4-inch color touch screen has icons that are better distributed to improve operator and programming efficiency. Included in this new E-touch II Controller is a five button “Easy Screen” for standard operation. Strokes can be displayed in inches or millimeters. In addition to Yushin’s Lead-Through-Teach (LLT) software, these robots can be programmed either on-line or off-line with Yushin’s Flex software. CE-marking is standard.
