Strip Heaters
Mica Strip Heaters can be manufactured as a standard strip with 3/8” fold over or as a butt case design. We can manufacture Strip heaters up to a maximum of 600 volts. (Please note any heaters manufactured over 480 volts are not covered by a warranty) Recommended watts for a standard Strip Heater is 22 watts per square inch. For a butt case strip heater is 28 watts per square inch. A Strip Heater curved more than 60 degrees is a partial coverage Band Heater.
Mounting slots are optional on Mica Strip Heaters. The standard mounting slot size is 5/16” x ½” centered on the heater 3/8” in from the edge. For alternate mounting slot options consult the factory.
All standard and butt case strip heaters are approximately 3/16” in thickness.
