Injection Mold Tool Design
Amdek specifies all its tooling in base molds with guided ejection, taper locks, interlocks and engineered cooling systems. We use either pre-hardened steel for inserts or other tempered steels. Additionally, we use DME bases to minimize tooling cost for lower run applications.
We take pride in using both offshore and domestic tooling sources to deliver the best quality at a reasonable price. Using Pro-E, SolidWorks, and AutoCad programs in our engineering division allows us to furnish 3D computer models and prints for you.
