Technogenia Rope, Technodur® and Technosphere®, & Technopowders provide significant hardness in applications requiring 30-60Rc, manually applied using the Technokit welding torch.
TECHNODUR ® AND TECHNOSPHERE® are Tungsten Carbide based flexible hard facing ropes, developed by TECHNOGENIA. They are composed of a central small diameter Nickel wire coated with a thick layer of Tungsten Carbide and Nickel Chrome mix.
TECHNODUR includes crushed Tungsten Carbide particles. TECHNOSPHERE includes harder spherical Tungsten Carbide pellets.
The primary and secondary mesh size of Tungsten Carbide particles in each product, are selected to achieve maximum density and uniformity in distribution.
TECHNODUR or TECHNOSPHERE can be applied in several successive layers when particularly thick deposits are required.
It can be ground to final dimensions to final dimensions when necessary.
TECHNODUR® and TECHNOSPHERE® are applied by the oxy-acetylenic method.
