We specialize in the recycling of HDPE rigid plastics, including materials such as plastic containers labeled #2 and #4, ensuring an environmentally friendly solution for businesses. We require that our HDPE rigid materials maintain a minimum of 85% purity, with allowances for up to 5% polypropylene (#5), up to 10% of other rigid plastics (such as #1, #3, #6, and #7), and limited amounts of film plastic, lightweight metals, and paper, provided the total level of contaminants does not exceed 15% by weight. To maintain the quality of our recycling streams, certain contaminants, such as large metal items, electronic waste, hazardous containers, medical waste, and miscellaneous items like wood and textiles, are not permitted at any level. For best practices, we recommend using stretch wrap for bales or corrugated plastic when packing materials to ensure easy processing.
