Recycling equipment from Costarelli USA, Inc. includes the company's water decantation machinery for clarifying process water and removing all the particles in suspension. It consists of a collection tank in which two pumps are placed (one operating and one in stand-by) which convey the water to a filtration treatment followed by a transition to a grit chamber. At this point, the water is collected by a tank shot and then sent to the conical clarifiers where the thickening of sludge takes place. The bottom of the conical clarifiers from where the sludge exits is in turn connected to a filter press that carries out their dehydration. The recovery of water leaking from the top of the conical clarifiers and recovered from the filter press is conveyed in a collection tank to be sent back to the production process through pumps.
