" STRAP&STRETCH " COILERS CONQUER THE MARKET

The introduction of new models from FB Balzanelli never stops, in fact the range just keeps on growing. Thanks to its new “strap&stretch” coilers, the leading coiler manufacturer keeps on conquering new market shares. In fact, more and more customers are now asking for the “strap&stretch” coilers, in other words machines which can pack coils not only with stretch wrap but with strap and stretch wrap simultaneously.

This success is further highlighted by the very recent delivery and installation of three new coilers in the plant of a customer who needed securer packaging for his coils and better protection. To meet these needs he chose the winning combination of the “strap&stretch” method over traditional packaging which uses only stretch wrap. With his coils subjected to long journeys in which they are particularly exposed to bad weather conditions, dust and UV rays, he did not want his coils to be packed in film wrap alone as it may not have been enough to protect the coils from damage and himself from subsequent complaints from the consignee. This is why he decided to look for new packaging solutions and turned to FB Balzanelli for an answer. And as always, the FB group managed to come up with just the right solution, offering the customer its “strap&stretch” series, in other words systems which combine the use of strapping and stretch wrap. As well as the flexibility offered by this kind of packaging which makes it possible to produce coils measuring up to 5 metres, the customer was able to appreciate the benefits linked to a reduction in transport costs, being as the resulting coils are more compact and easier to palletize, and the greater flexibility for the end market where he can now satisfy all of his customers, those who want coils packed with strap and those who want them packed in stretch wrap. After installing the coilers, the customer was left in no doubts as to the payback and high reliability of the investment made.
