Launched in 2009. the UNICOIL model of coilers immediately proved to be the ideal solution for coiling geothermal pipes. Developed based on the technology of the TR models, in other words the series of automatic coilers with opposing reels which was conceived and developed by FB Balzanelli and incorporates the whole history and evolution of the company, today the UNICOIL model has reached a level of absolute perfection, making it possible to coil pipes on two reels at the same time.
Well aware of the difficulties encountered in handling and packaging geothermal pipe, thanks to its many years of experience, FB Balzanelli has managed to supply the market with impeccable solutions and, by means of UNICOIL, it has managed to solve, once and for all, all the existing problems from coiling to storage. Fitted with a small haul off device and a special latching unit, the UNICOIL makes it possible to create coils which all have the same length, with the pipe tail always ending up in the same place, making it easier to pair up the single coils as well as to insert probes. What is more, savings in production costs are not to be overlooked: in fact, the UNICOIL system, thanks to its high precision and synchronization, makes it possible to significantly reduce the labour costs needed for handling and managing the product while at the same time guaranteeing savings in packaging materials not to mention a neater appearance of the coil. And how can you forget the limited installation space required? Whereas before, with the manual process, it was essential to dedicate special areas for storage and the coil coupling phase, with UNICOIL this is no longer necessary as the coils are ready for insertion of probes the minute they leave the machine.
