Molds & Tooling
Our engineers produce sample molds made from wood and production molds made from machined aluminum. Customers may also provide their own molds if the dimensions fit our requirements.
Wood Pattern: A mold formed from wood that is used during the initial stages of product development. The wood pattern allows design flexibility and alteration before landing on the finalized, production grade mold.
Cast Aluminum: Molten aluminum is poured into a steel mold. While the aluminum cools and solidifies, vacuum pressure simultaneously applied.
Machined Aluminum: Is created using a CNC machine to form the desired mold from a solid block of aluminum. This is typically used to produce products with shallow dimension made from a thin gauge material.
