Foam-In-Place Gasketing
As a full-service custom molder, Falcon Plastics is one of few molders that offer customers formed in place foam gasket technology (FIPG and FIPFG).
This is a foam-in-place technology that forms superior, cut resistant gaskets for electrical enclosures, industrial lighting, and other applications in grooved parts. It is ideally suited for making large or irregular shaped gaskets. This process is extremely cost effective in labor intensive and high-production operations as there are no tooling expenses and flexible adjustment to changing components. This technology is typically used to replace hand installed, self-adhesive, or clip-on gasketing on parts and enclosures needing to be water or dust tight.
