In fact, the company’s chitosan has already been studied and tested by the IR4, a regulatory FDA arm in agriculture for treatment of bacterial infections in tomatoes and cucumbers. The study resulted in positive results where the chitosan, used as a biopesticide, reduced pathogens and increased the growth and yield the subjects.

Beyond these mid-grade uses, the company is mostly focused on the development of low-volume, high-quality chitosan for high-grade applications, especially for biomedical applications in terms of Medical-Grade and pharmaceutical-grade chitosans.
