Green Solutions for Plastic Industries

KLK OLEO provides sustainable plant-based additives for polymer industries. PALMOWAX EBS and PALMESTER 3976 are external and internal lubricants, mould release agents and slip additives for general and engineering plastics.

PALMOWAX EBS and PALMESTER 3976 promote low surface friction and ease on releasing plastic parts from calendaring, extrusion, injection molding and others.

In masterbatch production, PALMOWAX EBS is incorporated for added-value lubricating resin performance. It can act as a pigment dispersant that disperses pigment homogeneously in colour masterbatch. It is also an excellent processing aid that lubricates and homogenises other additives in the melt mixing system.

Its good dispersing ability and surface migration allows PALMOWAX EBS to be used in ink industries. When used in asphalt or bitumen, PALMOWAX EBS can increase product’s softening point and visco-elasticity, which enhances road’s durability.

PALMOWAX EBS can also be used in other application areas, namely synthetic latex, wire drawing, wood-plastic composite, paints, textiles, and paper industries.
