Product Overview

Injection Molding & Extrusion PROcess Modules

Developed by a team of premier polymer industry experts, this self-paced training is offered on demand. The learning modules utilize video content to deliver theoretical, conceptual, and virtual instruction through digital twinning. Users develop skillsets from the real-time virtual data that represents the processing equipment’s functionality, features, and behavior.

Injection molding offers 5 modules that run approximately 12-hours and the extrusion series has 9 modules that run just over 18-hours in total. Users can complete them on their own time, or you can schedule a time during the workday at your operations to facilitate multiple enrollees. After each module, assessment questions must be answered to allow the next module to be accessed. Upon completion of the modules, users will receive a certificate verifying their accomplishment.

Topics include: Safety, Plastic Behavior & Polymer Structure, Production Process Overview, Machine Operation Overview, Machine Controls and Troubleshooting

These programs are an ideal jump start to a more comprehensive training program or apprenticeship and have been introduced as effective on-boarding required learning for all new hires. Modules can be purchased for just one individual or a large number of employees across different facilities. Volume discount pricing is available, and users have access to the materials for one year.
