For more than 50 years, Penn Color has been at the forefront of developing and producing the highest quality color & additive master batches for the plastics industry. We are among the largest custom master batch producers in North America, and paired with our privately-held & family-run ownership; we have all the resources and buying power of the large suppliers, yet maintain a responsive and agile approach to our customer relationships as a smaller supplier would.

Technology is at the core of what we do best. Our research & development team includes professionals with advanced degrees in polymer, physical, organic and analytical chemistries, knowledge of color trends & styles, and strong backgrounds in color matching for all thermoplastic resins. We utilize the latest testing, development and applications prototype equipment, and draw from a continuously updated array of globally sourced raw materials. These tools help us to create the best color & additive solutions to your problems, and to bring your color concepts to reality.

Penn Color operates multiple facilities in North America, Europe and Asia, and we have sales and distribution partners across the rest of the world. We’ve harmonized manufacturing equipment and process parameters within and across all manufacturing plants. And every plant is fully integrated with each other through our Oracle ERP platform, to ensure the best possible product consistency from lot to lot and plant to plant.

By it’s very nature, color is very subjective and open to interpretation. We’ve worked hard to take as much of that subjectivity out of the development and manufacturing process, in order to provide you with the most timely, consistent and cost effective products and solutions.
