Aberdeen has an established strong background in medical insert molding, including thermoplastic injection molding, liquid silicone molding, overmolding, micromolding and various other aspects of medical molding. We also design and build custom insert and injection mold tooling (including book molds) for use in the production of medical devices, product design and development, molded prototypes, and product R&D. Although contract molding services are our core technology, we offer custom turnkey molding systems and molding equipment for specialty customers who prefer to have their own manufacturing capabilities. Aberdeen can provide molded prototyes, medical device manufacturing, mold tooling and clean room molding for even the most difficult projects. Product experience includes molded implantables, medical molded prototypes, catheters, molded needles, medical cables, IV subassemblies, and medical devices requiring LSR overmolded onto thermoplastics.
