American Wood Fibers (AWF), has been involved with "total wood waste utilization" for over 40 years. In 2009 we processed nearly 1 Billion pounds of wood waste into wood flour, wood shavings, wood pellets, & sawdust. Since 1966 AWF has supplied wood flour into plastics for for use in thermoset & thermoplastic resin compounds.

Wood flour is not only a low cost filler or extender, but also provides several key attributes including; thermal stability, improved MOE, mold shrinkage reduction, and better flexural strength. In 1997 AWF validated our commitment to quality by achieving ISO certification. AWF can provide consistency from batch to batch which ensures your process stays in control and you maximize your outputs.
