Microtrace, LLC, the original taggant company, specializes in custom developing multiple level solutions to brand protection and anti-counterfeiting issues. Microtrace offers a variety of taggant technologies, security labels and laser marking systems. These custom solutions are delivered in a variety of formats, making them versatile to many products, production processes and industries. Microtrace’s taggant technologies are unique to each customer or application, like a fingerprint. This unique code sequence can be read in the field for simple yes/no authentication. Common uses of Microtrace’s technologies: Genuine Product authentication, Dilution identification, Mix Ratio identification, Product Diversion tracing. Solutions offered by Microtrace can be covert or overt, mixed with bulk product or added to individual products, used in liquids or solids.
