WHY WILLOW RIDGE PLASTICS?
WRP offers full and free in-house laboratory testing of clients’ samples made with WRP additive(s) based on ASTM standards D 6954, D7444, or D5208 for the price of a minimum order of ten 50 lb. bags. If your application is similar to many of WRP’s clients, you may be able to pre-determine your loading, based on our time-honored and average test results (of clients’ samples) since 1994 categorized by resin type, thickness of product, and shelf life requirements. By saving you time, we can help you beat your competitor. Our in-house lab testing results (which take from 330 hours to 32 weeks) are confidential.

With over 24 years of experience making oxo-biodegradable plastic additives, our new generation of additives meets and exceeds current market requirements for oxo-biodegradable plastics. Whether your application requires UV, bacterial, or oxidative biodegradation, WRP is able and willing to work with you and customize our additives to meet your needs.

WHY OXO-BIODEGRADABLE ADDITIVES?
WRP additives oxo-biologically degrades almost all plastic products that are disposed in the landfill. We makes plastic "rust" by using the oxo-biodegradation process, time, ambient heat, and/or UV light, our additives will completely oxidize the plastic. Oxidation reduces the molecular weight of the plastic and allows for oxygen containing functional groups to form within the polymer. This allows microorganisms to further biodegrade the polymer once it has been disposed of in the landfill.
